Globsec Forum 2025 took place from June 12 to June 14, 2025, at the Hilton Prague Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
Globsec Forum, Prague: Ideas shaping the world.
The 20th GLOBSEC conference took place from 12–14 June 2025, in the memorable city of Prague, Czechia. Over two decades, the forum has set itself up as one of Europe's most persuasive stages for forming worldwide security and stability. This year's gathering brought together world pioneers, trailblazers, and changemakers beneath the support of President Petr Pavel and of the Service of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, to address today's most pressing global challenges and shape actionable techniques for the long run.
Europe’s Defining Moment
President and Founder of the GLOBSEC, Róbert Vass, welcomed all guests to the GLOBSEC Forum 2025, and President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, delivered the opening keynote remarks, outlining the global context framing the 20th anniversary edition.
The Keynote of the Forum: History is Watching
The keynote intervention was given by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The president called for total sanctions against Russia, to which everybody would stick, to strengthen the Ukrainian army, support the infantry, the first liners at the front of the line, and to politically isolate Russia. On the question of what the non-negotiables are for just peace, the president said, “We all must make it the way that Russia and Putin do not prevail in this war, I think that is the best security guarantee for the whole world because he will never stop”.

The 20th GLOBSEC Forum brought together more than 2000 participants from 78 countries, 260 high-level speakers, including 51 political delegations, and hundreds of global decision-makers, innovators, and around 250 media representatives from almost 100 outlets. The Minority Issues Research Institute (MIRI) was honoured to receive the invitation and to participate in this conference with our President and Senior Researcher, Dr Svetluša Surová.
